Well another holiday season and another Cranky Christmas show LIVE from Hugh's Room done, our fourth annual. A good crowd for a Wednesday night but not as busy as our previous shows. I'm booking a Friday next year. Anyway, an awesome show, shared with friends, and many thanks to Katherine, Dave, John, Al C., and of course Mr. Wendell Ferguson. Punmaster extraordinaire! Well the demo is done [is awesome - thanks editor Pete] and the paperwork gets locked tomorrow. So then it's pitching time and I feel a home run happening from this side of the plate. |

After a year where Wendell Ferguson's Cranky Christmas DVD has won two international awards, he has just been named the CANADIAN FOLK MUSIC AWARDS' "Instrumental Solo Artist of the Year" for his latest CD, MENAGE A MOI. Congrats Wendell. |

His name now released to the public, I just want to thank Aziz Yoosufani for his selfless and important contribution to the creation of our demo. I only met him for a brief time but felt his goodness and generousity, and I looked forward to flying in the future with him. May the wind be at his back.

Just learned last night that the pilot who helped Jasmin and I shoot an arial segment for our proposed "Out Of The Frying Pan" cooking competition series was killed in a plane accident north of Pickering ON. Thoughts are with him and his family today. Lost a new friend far too soon. |

Just got tickets to see Douglas Trumbull present "The Special Effects Design of 2001: A Space Odyssey" at the Bell Lightbox, Dec 08. VERY BIG :) DOH! Just realized that is Cranky Christmas performance night at Hugh's Room...... :(
